You can filter your illumibots by the following statuses: - All: View all illumibots. - Active: View only active illumibots. - Inactive: View only inactive illumibots. - Online: View only illumibots that are currently online.

Managing Illumibots⚓︎

In this section, you can find and manage all of your illumibots. The first thing you'll encounter is the illumibot profile. Below is a breakdown of the profile components:

Components of the Illumibot Profile Card⚓︎

  1. Active Location Image: Displays the image associated with the active location.
  2. Location Row: Shows all available locations for the illumibot. Tap a location to set it as active for that illumibot.
  3. Bottom Left Section:
  4. Last Seen: Timestamp of the illumibot's last activity.
  5. Active Location Name: The current active location's name.
  6. Online Indicator: Shows whether the illumibot is currently online.
  7. Active/Inactive Toggle: Toggle the illumibot’s status. Only active illumibots can be prompted or affected by bulk actions.
  8. Power Toggle: Turn the connected projector on/off for this illumibot. If no power protocol is set up, you’ll be guided to configure it.
  9. Eye Icon (Show/Hide Projection):
  10. If Prefer Shutter is enabled, this uses projector “video mute” (shutter) on/off.
  11. Otherwise, it sends a black or the original image to simulate hide/show.
  12. Paint Icon: Sends multiple color projections, including the original mask or edge image options.
  13. Edit Button: Opens the Illumibot Settings page where you can manage power protocols, projector connection, and locations. See “Illumibot Settings (Power & Connections)” below.

Controlling All Illumibots⚓︎

These controls affect all illumibots currently visible under the selected filter: - Power All ON: Powers on all visible, active illumibots’ projectors (with confirmation). - Power All OFF: Powers off all visible, active illumibots’ projectors (with confirmation). - Show All Projections: Shows projections for all visible illumibots. - Hide All Projections: Hides projections for all visible illumibots.

Notes⚓︎

  • Show/Hide actions respect the “Prefer shutter” setting per device.
  • Bulk power requires a configured power protocol on each illumibot.

Reordering Illumibots⚓︎

Reorder your illumibots for easier management. Drag and drop to rearrange the list.

Illumibot Settings (Power & Connections)⚓︎

Access via the Edit button on each illumibot card.

Preferred Projector Power Protocol⚓︎

Choose how the app powers your projector: - HDMI-CEC: Uses the Illumibot’s HDMI-CEC to control power. - PJLink: Controls projectors over IP via the PJLink protocol. - IR Remote: Uses an IR blaster to send power signals. Behavior: - If a preferred protocol is set and configured, it’s used. - If not set, the app falls back in this order: CEC → PJLink → IR. - If no protocol is configured, you’ll be prompted to set one up.

Configure your projector for network control: - Use Local Connection: Enable if the projector is wired directly to the Illumibot via Ethernet. Disable if it’s connected to your router. - Projector IP Address: Set the projector’s IPv4 (e.g., 192.168.1.11). If directly wired to the Illumibot via Ethernet, the default may be sufficient. - PJLink Port: Default is 4352. - PJLink Password: Set if your projector requires one. - Prefer Shutter for Hide/Show: When enabled, the Eye icon and bulk Show/Hide use PJLink video mute (shutter) instead of image-based hide/show.

Notes⚓︎

  • For direct Illumibot-to-projector Ethernet, “Use Local Connection” is assumed.
  • PJLink also powers the projector on/off automatically at the start/end of scheduled shows.

HDMI-CEC Setup⚓︎

Optionally set: - Device Type: e.g., tv. - To Address: HDMI-CEC logical address (0 by default). Use this when the Illumibot is HDMI-connected to a CEC-capable projector or display.

IR Remote Setup⚓︎

If your projector is controlled by IR: - Record signals in the Setup Projector Remote flow. - Choose Single power signal or Separate Power On/Power Off signals. - The app saves IR signal paths and uses them for Power On/Off.

Notes⚓︎

  • Eye (Show/Hide) remains image-based when using IR unless PJLink shutter is enabled.

Locations & Other Settings⚓︎

  • Manage locations for the illumibot and set the active location.
  • View device details like IP, MAC, uptime, temperature, and version when available.
