Home is the first tab in the app and the place to pick up where you left off. The title greets you by name (Hey, <name>), and you can pull down to refresh it.
Tip: Tap your avatar in the top-right corner of any tab to open your Profile, where you'll also find Need Help?.
Getting started checklist⚓︎
Until you've made your first creation, Home shows a setup checklist instead of the usual sections.
First, choose what you're setting up under Get started — Which device would you like to set up?:
- Illumifun — just your phone and a USB-C to HDMI cable. See illumiFun.
- Illumibot — the all-in-one device, built for always-on projection mapping.
You can change your choice later with Switch device. Then follow the numbered steps:

Why can I only see Home and Point?
The Prompt, Play and Explore tabs appear once at least one of your locations has both a photo and a mask. Until then, a Finish setting up banner takes you back to the checklist.
What's on Home⚓︎
Once you're set up, Home shows these sections, top to bottom. A section only appears when it has something in it.
- No subscription — shown if you don't have a plan yet. Tap Subscribe to pick one. See Subscriptions & Tokens.
- Tokens left — a reminder when your token balance is running low, with a Top up button.
- Needs attention — Illumibots that have an Update ready (tap to approve the firmware update) or are Offline (tap to open the device's settings).
- Now projecting — every device that is playing something right now. Tap one to open it.
- Announcements — news from the Illumibot team, such as new features, maintenance windows and events. Tap one to read it.
- Scheduled shows — the shows your Illumibots are set to play. This list comes from the Illumibots themselves, so offline devices are left out. Paused shows are dimmed and marked Paused. Tap the (i) button for details.
- Recent creations — your latest finished creations. See all opens your gallery.
- Popular this week — the most-favorited community posts from the last 7 days. See all opens the Explore tab.
What's New⚓︎
After an app update, a What's New page may open once to highlight the changes. You can open it any time from Profile → What's New. See What's New.
